1. Who we are

Iconoclast Musings GmbH, Dammstrasse 16, 6300 Zug, Switzerland, is responsible for processing personal data on this website. Contact: hello@iconoclast.to.

2. Scope

This policy explains how we process personal data when you visit iconoclast.to or contact us by email. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Visiting this website

This website uses no cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising tools, and loads no third-party content. To deliver the website and protect it against misuse and attacks, our hosting provider Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information, the time of access and the pages requested. We don't use this data to identify you or to build profiles. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf. Its retention periods are set out in Cloudflare's privacy policy (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Contacting us by email

If you email us, we process your email address, name, the content of your message and any information you choose to share, in order to reply and to deal with your request. Our email is provided by Google (Google Workspace). We keep correspondence for as long as necessary for that purpose and to comply with statutory retention obligations. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is the steps you request before entering into a contract or performing one (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Disclosure abroad

Cloudflare and Google may process personal data in the USA and other countries. Where a country does not provide an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards. These include certification of the provider under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where available, or standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

6. Your rights

Subject to the applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, its correction or deletion, a restriction of or objection to its processing, and a copy of data you provided to us in a common electronic format. To exercise these rights, email hello@iconoclast.to. You may also lodge a complaint with the FDPIC (www.edoeb.admin.ch) or, if the GDPR applies to you, with your local data protection authority.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this website applies.
